I wanted to make something weird that I hadn't seen before and settled on ammolite (the gem reflective layer on some ammonite fossils) in a threaded end. Then I broke way too much of it (kinda ashamed to be honest) getting a piece carved and set, but here we go!

One of a kind raw ammolite gem carved down from an ammonite fossil in a 14kt yellow gold setting with two prongs and one tab.

No post included, (1) threaded end only.

Dendrite

Dendrite is the 2020's iteration of the body jewelry company Onetribe, created in 2003 by founder and lead maker Jared Karnes (that's me). Dendrite was known primarily for innovative body jewelry lapidary work and ear weight designs. We produced several Association of Professional Piercers conference "Innovator Award" pieces, such as the Ghost in the Shell ear weights, Topo ear Weights, and Cryst ceramic body jewelry displays.

I can no longer make jewelry due to extensive hand/arm injuries sustained as a production stone carver, so this website has become a showcase of work from my fantastic peers. I hope you enjoy it :)
